Is the online teleprompter really free?
Yes. Practice and record in your browser for free, with no sign-up. Videos you record here carry a small Teleprompter App watermark; record without it in the app (Pro). You only enter an email if you want your script emailed to you.
Do my videos get uploaded?
No. Recordings stay on your device. Saved takes are stored in your browser and downloaded to your computer or phone.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes, in any modern browser. For HD export, get the free Teleprompter App; captions and branding are part of Pro.
How do I set the speed?
Speed is in words per minute. Most people read comfortably at 130–160 wpm; use the + and − buttons or the arrow keys.
Can I use it with a teleprompter rig?
Yes. Mirror the text left–right (and upside down if your rig needs it) in Settings.
